Funghi from Warwickshire…

During Autum 2006, there seemed to be a mega explosion of funghi around my house in Warwickshire.

I kept meaning to take photo’s of them when they were in their prime, but somehow always ended up pre-occupied with other things, most probably work.

This first collection is of some white mushrooms, quite common around my house, the ground is very wet and boggy.

This next one had the appearance of a mushroom when it starts to go off in the fridge

This next photo is of a small cluster…

These next few mushrooms were very similiar in appearance to the white button mushrooms you but from the shops. They were growing in the woodland amongst lots of fallen acorns from the nearby big oak tree.

This next mushroom was quite lanky and also seemed to be going rotten

These new few photos were of very perculiar mushrooms. They seems to be very low and contorted and twisted.

Then next and final images are of some semi-rotting puff balls that were in the wooded bit..
