Trips and Photos February 20th, 2007So whats been going on..
Well day 2 consisted of little more than some gym in the morning, followed by the pool in the afternoon. Sitting down reading Jeffrey Archer’s - Cat o’ Nine Tails which has been absoloutly utterly addictive.
I think i read about 130 pages yesterday down by the pool after we got back from the gym, and finished the other 120 today. The book basically contains lots of short stories, and by far my favroute story was one of a divorce.
Plot outline..
Basically the man (a doctor) meets this girl, marries her, inherits lots of money, and then the woman wants a divorce, hires the best lawyer and its looking very bad for the poor man. Then with 2 sentances to go, i’m thinking to myself, ‘how is this going to end in 2 sentances’.. and then it does, and it is a brilliant ending which left me feeling great that the judge made such a excellent move. Brilliant, absoloutly brilliant. .. a must read
Today, (day 3) just spent the whole day from start to finish down by the pool / beach, laptop in the morning, book in the afternoon.
So, here’s a few pics…
from the last 2 days of the gym, beach, pool, and just what we’ve been up to. .
This is chloe in the gym (Virgin Active in La Lucia, Durban) having just played some squash. We later did some ‘CV’ on the site down bike where i was on ‘level 7′, doing 110 rpm and with my heart rate a 196 bpm. . . all for about 1 second..

Here are a few black and white photos of chloe on the beach..

This is me on the beach holding up a bunch of grouped together jellyfish (no swimming in the sea ( oh and the sharks ! ) )

This is me in the pool, only attached this pic as it looks like i have a very tiny body

And of course, as usual, a few bug ones.
First are of a few of the jellyfish scattered around the beach

Here is lots of jellyfish further up the beach that had all grouped together and dried and died. The beach and sea is literally peppered with these so swimming is definatly off the agenda.

Finally here is a bug shot chloe took of some strange moth like creature on the floor.

Come on now Tom i really think its time you came home before everybody realises your back on the drugs, by the way liked the black and white photos but it makes chloe look as if shes naked, cant see the clothes.
Will even buy you a new van tom and get some extra specially deep under pinning to do if it helps bring you back to normality.

Hi Chloe (loving daughter) and Tom, lovely to see all the pics, I have seen the others you sent, but have not had time to reply. It all looks very sunny and picturesque. The water in the pool looks gorgeous, very inviting. Glad to see you are using the Gym!! Toms photos of the wee beasties are very good, Andrew was particulary interested in them, and the Jelly fish. Went toLion Quays for Charlottes birthday last night, as you know, quite a nice meal, then came back and sang Happy Birthday to her, and she blew the candle out on her cake. She really liked your top you bought her. Anyhoo speak to you soon. Luv Mum xx
