Liquorice Allsorts..

Hello, not updated for a few days. What have Chloe and I been up to ? Not alot, and it feels great.

Just been doing nothing but giving our minds a rest from the UK rat race and done nothing again but work hard at the gym, then relax infront of the pool swimming and reading our books all afternoon.

So, here are a few photos, i have recently completed Jeffrey Archers ” A prison Diary - Volume 1 - Hell ” which has been excellent. Unfortunatly the 2 book stores in the nearest towns have sold out of Volume 2.

As the next book is out of stock eveywhere, i have asked my mom, who is coming back from visiting some caves and staying at some friends in Joburg to pick up volume 2 for me from the airport if they have it.

To keep me occupied in the mean time i have bought another recommended book called ” The Choice ” by Gayton McKenzie. . . Below is an exert from ohmynews.com..

The Choice is about a black man’s journey in South Africa, beginning with petty crime and running through the whole gamut all the way to crime lord. But it was only during his prison term that McKenzie, on whom the book is based, witnessed the ultimate horror: a skinny white boy whom the author describes as “16 or more, but looks no older than 14,” placed in his cell (with at least 80 occupants) and raped by at least 20 men for 8 hours or more. This debauchery finally awakened the human heart in the criminal’s body, and lead to the inner change that culminated ultimately in the telling of this story.

Meanwhile Chloe has finished Jeffrey Archer’s Cat o’ Nine Tails and is now reading Victoria Beckhams ” That extra half an inch “..

Garlic and the bugs !

So in SA they have these massive pots of prechopped up garlic, and Chloe and I have been going completly mad. Instead of a little bit of galic with the onion, we have a little bit of onion with alot of galic !
The proof is in the pudding..
