A common misconception among people not well schooled in the sex industry is that fetish and bondage toys (also know as BDSM toys) are the same thing. This is simply not true. There is a clear distinction between both fetish and bondage sex toys, which is decided by the nature of the toy. Any toy that could be regarded as more of a playful, light-hearted sex aid would be classed as a fetish toy. A few examples of fetish toys would be nipples tassels, handcuffs, ticklers etc. On the other hand you have bondage sex toys, which are regarded to be more “heavy duty” to be used in acts of submission and torture. You also have your toys that could fit under either fetish or bondage such as whips and handcuffs.

Personally in my opinion, bondage is only for people who are a bit sick in varying degrees. Anyone who wants to put clothe pegs on people’s nipples or cause extreme pain or discomfort surely has something wrong with them. I on the other hand really enjoy a bit of fetish play such as being tied down and seen to or handcuffing my girlfriend’s hands behind her back and giving it to her hard up the ass.
